1. Your real-life name and e-mail address.
2. Your desired character's name. If you want to be a character from any of the books there are special rules you should be aware of.
3. Information about your character. Please include your character's age, gender, and a short description. If your character is a Hogwart's student, please include the house you would like your character to belong to. If would like an unusual character, such as a werewolf or a vampire, please note we may only accept your character if you provide a very good backstory. This MUSH really can't be overrun with vampire and werewolves. Animagi may also be accepted, but only in very limited numbers. Muggles, of course, are always welcome.

First, if you choose to be a character from any ofthe Harry Potter books, you must visit the MUSH frequently and spend time playing your character. We understand the demands of real-life responsibilities, but it hardly seems fair to let a fun character like Neville Longbottom or Draco Malfoy to sit unused for weeks on end. If your character is unused for a lengthy period of time and another player wishes to play the role of your character, we may change your character's name and let the other player take the role.

Second, you should also be true to your character; if you choose to be Neville Longbottom but act suave, sophisticated, and know the answers to every question in Potions class, we may ask you to be a different character.
